Ohhhhh, dogs, we love you so. Puppy, pupper, pooch, floof, doggo … whatever you choose to call them, our canine companions really do make everything better. Especially at work, and even if your company – like ours — is all-around awesome.
Last Friday, Intouch KC hosted its fourth annual Bring Your Dog to Work Day, which meant that most Intouchers were in an especially good mood. Reports are that there were 80 dogs this year – that’s a record! Of course, not everyone is a dog person, but the bow-wows were so well-behaved, the cat lovers couldn’t be mad.
The day included Bark Box raffle prizes, special Intouch-branded dog cookies, ice cream treats for dogs and hot dogs for humans. We also raised money for KC Pet Project, one of our favorite pet rescue organizations.
By the end of the day, dogs that had been pretty wound up were wiped out, and their humans report they slept like four-legged logs.
Can’t wait ’til next year — maybe we’ll make it to 100 fur babies!
